How do you process a SoftSecond Loan for my borrower?

Follow the steps below to ensure that SoftSecond funds are reserved for your borrowers and MHP approval is granted.

Make sure your borrower has completed, or is enrolled in, a CHAPA-approved first-time homebuyer course.
Is your borrower buying in a community that requires an income certification. If so, make sure they make an appointment as soon as possible with their local non-profit. MHP will not approve your borrower's reservation without receiving a copy of their income certificate. Click here for a list of down-payment assistance programs and local community contacts.
Enter a RESERVATION in es2 to register your borrower.
Submit a PREQUALIFICATION in es2 for MHP approval of the loan.
Submit a FINAL APPLICATION in es2 for MHP approval when all loan terms have been finalized.
